The M80 Ring Road is one of Melbourne’s busiest and largest freeways, spanning 38 kilometres between Laverton North and Greensborough. The project aimed to provide more reliable journeys for more than 165,000 motorists each day, improve travel times and improve safety. Sovereign Concrete Products supplied some 1450 road safety barriers and bridge parapets.  A significant portion of the barriers incorporated the J-J Hooks connection system.

The Nowra Bridge project provided a new four lane bridge over the Shoalhaven River, upgraded intersections and additional lanes on the Princes Highway. Sovereign Concrete Products supplied bridge parapets for two bridges including the new crossing of the Shoalhaven River.

The West Gate Tunnel Project will provide a vital alternative to the West Gate Bridge, quicker and safer journeys, and remove over 9000 trucks a day from residential streets in the inner west of Melbourne. Sovereign Concrete Products supplied some 500 road safety barriers and bridge parapets.

This project will deliver the ‘missing link’ of the Newcastle Inner City bypass between Rankin Park and Jesmond, meaning a faster, safer commute for locals who will be able to bypass 11 sets of traffic lights along this notorious stretch of road. Sovereign Concrete Products is supplying some 130 bridge parapets for 5 bridges on the bypass.
